Virtex2Pro Internal Config. Access Port

Hi,

Is there somebody who has used ICAP (Internal configuration access port)
with internal PPC in Virtex2Pro ?
What are partial reconfiguration advantages versus external port
reconfiguration ? Speed ?
Could this be a step towards real time 'hardware task scheduling' ?
