Hi JS, Thanks heaps for getting back to me. After reading a bit more up on this (prior to receiving your msg) I discovered that, as you say, the only way to avoid this is to create the button and toolbar in code. I can do this with the references I have, so whilst I appreciate your offer, I won't bother you with it any further. Thanks again !
