Count Text & return higest value

I have 5 text values in a range (W,S,G,VG).  I want a formula to count
the number of occurances of each value and return the value of the one
that occurs the most. Sounds simple, but I've tried @countif & can't
quite find the right formula. Am working in Lotus 123.
