Re: excel formulas/formats

Arleen,
Could it be that the 'date' first entered in column A is not actually
recognised as a date by excel.  One way of establishing that is to format
cells and pick another date format.  If the cell does not change format then
it is probably not formatted as a date, excel would only think it is text.
