Re: unviersities for research on neural networks, sofware agents

In Canada we have the U of Toronto (my alma mater and sort of primier 
spot IMHO ==> UoT has Profs G. Hinton and Radford Neal), U of Guelph 
(Prof. Deb. Stacey and others(W.R Smith) and U of Waterloo.
There is also work at Carleton Univerity in Ottawa that is good and 
innovative with Prof Zhang.
There is also work at McMaster University in Hamilton where  they have 
Prof Simon Haykin author of famous book.

I don't know much about points west in Canada

In the USA we have the University of Dr. Greg Heath and Warren Sarle!!
