But this is just a gloss over to any points I have raised by saying that one
type of knowledge can contain another type of knowledge. Now I would
have to raise issue with "carried via", and then "carrier", and then
"contain" and so on.

Would you like to discuss what "inform" can mean?
Let me try an example of informing you:
Glossary - list or dictionary of technical or special words.
Gloss - A deceptively attractive appearance
Gloss over - seek to conceal, esp. by mentioning only briefly
These lines come from a page in a book, I am counting on
your abilities to gain knowledge here and my abilities to apply
knowledge via the information presented. If either of our
abilities are failing, then there would be no knowledge passing;
therefore information is not some kind knowledge. Knowledge
is contained by other knowledge in the sense that it has to be
cracked open (rediscovered by the second party) with other
knowledge abilities.
