Hi all, new kid here!
I won't even attempt to read up on all posts before introducing myself,
sorry <=)
I'm 21 years old and currently studying Computer Engineering at the local
college here in Norway. I've been fascinated by the idea of artificial
intelligence for several years now, though never made anything serious out
of it. I have minor knowledge, bits and pieces, of genetic algorithms and
neural nets, and can only begin to see how it will affect the future, the
only thing I'm sure of is that it _will_ be a huge part of it.
I won't ask for links to articles and other resources just yet, I'm sure
they're hidden in here somewhere ;-)
I would, however, appreciate any tips regarding education on the topic. I
was thinking of somehow combining psychology with artificial intelligence
for a new approach on the subject, and would like to hear your opinion on
this?
Thanks.
