By helping classify you to the benefit of all concerned as an
instantly dismissable buffoon, incapable of carrying out a
conversation where more than one opinion on any matter is
entertained without recourse to name calling, insults, and
character assassination.
People warned of your behavior in this regard would then know
better than to waste their time attempting civil discourse
with you.
This falls under the umbrella of "public good" so suscinctly
expressed by Scott Adams in the title of one of his "Dilbert"
cartoon collections:
