FineReader is indeed very good, but your solution will not work. If
you have to read German texts, just learn German.
If your native language is English or another related language, this
will not be too difficult.
'Automatic' translation will not work, moreover you will have to
peruse your dictionary anyhow. 
Don't be lazy and learn a few foreign languages!

Spend you money on a good dictionary and a tutorial and/or a teacher.
