OCR with Imaging Professional

I've got this problem.
First I load a TIF image into a ImgEdit.
Then I use che method ClipboardCopy to copy a piece of the image into
the clipboard.

Now I use the OCR setting the parameter OcrFromClipboard and
CopytoClipboard to True. (I want the result into the clipboard)

When I call StartOcr I get an error since there is no valid image.
That's why I don't set the parameter Image, since I don't have a saved
image as input. Then I don't have an output file, too.
But shouldn't it work, anyway? How should I get around this?
