Hym :),

I still do not get it, maybe because I don't have many knowledge in
this fields but how is ALife connected with fields like signal
processing and physical computation. I can imagine that it is possible
to be used in economics, but I can not imagine exactly how.

Do we have the same definition of ALife? For me ALife is an organism
which is executing (living) in a computer environment. So in my
opinion it is a program, script or genotype which can interact with
the environment and eventually is developed with natural selection.
