I am running XP with IE 6 with the latest service pack and all patches. When I initially access a page there is normally no problem it is when I attempt to click on a link to another page it freezes. The pointer changes to the hand, signifying that it recognizes it as a link but then just hangs like that. This happens virtually every time that I attempt to click a link which leads me to believe that this is not a bad link or a website issue. The only way to get out of it is to ctrl-alt-del and end the process that way. If i let it hang long enough I will finally receive a "program not responding" message. Normally then if I try and access this page again (via the same link) it freezes. Most of the time I need to actually reboot the computer all together. I have deleted cookies, Deleted File, Raised the disk space to 500 MB. I have downloaded all the latest from MS website. Even tried to uninstall IE V.6 and reinstall but each time it tells me that a current V.6 is already available. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated as I am about to toss the laptop out a window... Thanks, Tom
