Like others have mentioned, the fact is that all it takes is for 1
guy/girl/creature to break the thing and its readily available on P2P or
copied CD's. So in fact its the consumers who do the right thing that cop
it. Who wants to spend $30 for mostly crap music + a corrupt CD?

My take is that one will never stop piracy whether its on the net or
whatever...

If the majors put their catalogs like an E-music / audiogalaxy format
then 70% would do the right thing and the rest ? they are the same ones
that copied cassettes before there were CD's, they copied their mates
CD's when they got a burner and now they purely use P2P.
