The p2p networks tend to have a dearth of Australian music. Due I'd
guess to the poor broadband penetration here and possibly also peoples
reticence to "rip off" poor, struggling local artists (who gives a fuck
about Britney Valance's record company missing a sale, while you want
the dude you saw at the Sando last Wednesday night to make a buck so you
can keep seeing him perform).

You can always stream JJJ over the net to find new artists, then either
hit their websites to see if they're giving away singles as mp3 (many do)
or buy stuff of Chaos Music as someone else suggested.
