I play classical guitar at weddings and other functions all the time. Once I surprised an Alice-fan groom by played instrumental versions of both "Desperado" and "Laughing At Me" at his wedding reception - he noticed them and loved them, but no one else noticed them - they just sounded like classical guitar music to them! Hahahaha. But seriously, there are plenty of Alice tunes that can be done instrumentally by any competent musician. I've always maintained that most of Alice's music was melodically interesting enough to render into decent instrumental versions, sometimes with surprisingly effective results.
